We provide dedicated project managers to all relocations, maintaining communication and accountability from beginning to end.
After your move is completed we can provide a porterage service to assist you with any small moves or single items you may need moved on a day to day basis.
We have a storage facility for furniture and effects - we can store as little as one item to a whole office if required.
We have the facilities to store files, paperwork and records and operate a retrieval service to deliver items back to your offices as and when required. We can also confidentially shred/destroy files that are no longer needed.
City Relocations understands the need for the sensitive handling of confidential documentation. We also appreciate that speed of access and system reliability is very important.
We can disconnect and pack your computers, monitors/screens into IT1 crates – the monitors would be bubble wrapped for protection. The computers would be placed on the appropriate desks at your new premises awaiting set up by your IT team. We can provide our own IT specialist if you would like us to reinstall all of your electrical equipment.
We can provide a rubbish clearance service or disposal of confidential waste. We can collect unwanted office furniture for breaking down into component parts and recycling. We also offer a recycling service for computer equipment.
We have many years of experience in facilitating the relocation and clearance of office buildings, we operate ‘Green and Environmentally Friendly Clearance’ procedures. Our policy is to try and re-use and recycle as much as possible. We help you to abide by all environmental and economical policies you may have and provide advice on compliance issues.
We provide in depth audit logs for use in carbon offsetting and evidence for companies to achieve Corporate Social Responsibility obligations.
Crate hire can be arranged as part of your relocation or for your own use. We supply specialist crates in a range of sizes (we have a selection of A3 crates which are ideal for packing files and papers or IT1 crates that are specifically designed for the packing of computers) all of which are clean, de-labelled and ready to use. All of our crates are lidded and can be secured using security seals.
Crates are available on a weekly hire charge, we will send you a weekly summary of crates on hire and we can remove these from your site in a timely manner.
We can provide different sorts of packing materials from our perfected range appropriate to the item to be packed. We will provide bubble wrap to wrap screens/monitors and any other delicate/fragile items. We also use flat packed cardboard cartons as an alternative if preferred these can be provided in different sizes and we provide tape to secure them. All crates/boxes should be labelled for recognition and to signify the area they are to be placed in. Labels would be provided by us and with have a selection of different colours which may be useful if using a colour coded plan.
We help with the entire process of your removal which includes refurbishing the space you are moving from. We recently assisted with a large company who were moving to a new office and were required by their contract to leave their current space as good as new. This meant taking down partitions, replacing the ceiling, decorating, new carpets, cleaning and clearing out any unwanted items.
